Getting Started with DeskClone AI
DeskClone AI gives your team an AI support agent called Jarvis. Jarvis reads your knowledge base, answers your website visitors' questions through a chat widget, monitors your support email, and helps your team resolve issues faster. You provide the knowledge - Jarvis handles the conversations.
This guide walks you through signup and your first steps in the platform.
Creating Your Account
Sign up at jarvis.deskclone.ai
Visit the signup page and fill in your details. Organization Name is the name of your company or team - this appears in your dashboard and can be changed later. You do not need a credit card to get started.
Verify your email
Check your inbox for a verification link. Click it to activate your account.
Complete the onboarding wizard
After signing in, you will see a short setup wizard. It walks you through the key steps to get Jarvis working. You can skip it and come back later, but we recommend going through each step - it only takes a few minutes.
You can also sign up with Google if you prefer not to create a separate password.
Your Dashboard
Once you are signed in, the dashboard is your home base. Here is what you will see:
- Metric cards at the top showing your resolved issues, success rate, and total activity
- Quick Actions on the right with shortcuts to configure email, import knowledge, and start a conversation with Jarvis
- Activity feed in the center showing recent events
On your first visit, everything will show zero - that is expected. Your numbers will populate as you start using Jarvis.

What to Do First
Here is the recommended order to get Jarvis up and running:
1. Set up your agent personality
Go to Your Agent and open the Personality tab. Write a short description of how Jarvis should communicate with your visitors - friendly and casual, or professional and formal. A good personality description makes a real difference in how natural the conversations feel.
2. Add knowledge base content
Go to Knowledge Base and add the content Jarvis will use to answer questions. You can create files manually, upload documents, or use Smart Import to pull content from Google Drive, Notion, or your email history. The more relevant content you add, the better Jarvis performs.
3. Test the widget
Go to Your Agent and open the Test tab. This lets you have a conversation with Jarvis using your knowledge base, so you can see how it responds before going live.
4. Check deployment readiness
Go to Your Agent and review the Widget tab. Make sure your welcome message, branding colors, and identity settings are configured the way you want them.
5. Embed on your website
Go to Settings and open the Publish Agent tab. Click Publish Chat Widget to generate your API key, then copy the script tag and paste it into your website. Your visitors can now chat with Jarvis.
You can complete these steps in any order, but this sequence gives Jarvis the best foundation before you go live. Each step builds on the previous one.
Free Plan
Every account starts on the Free plan where your agent can handle up to 10 conversations per month. This is enough to test the product with real interactions and see how Jarvis handles your specific content. There is no time limit on the Free plan - it is yours to keep.
If you need more capacity, you can upgrade at any time from Settings > Account, or grab a booster pack for extra conversations without changing your plan.
What's Next
Now that you are oriented, the next step is to set up your AI agent - starting with the personality that shapes how Jarvis talks to your visitors.
